Nokia buys Symbian and announces the formation of the Symbian Foundation, with members Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, NTT DoCoMo, AT&T, LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments and Vodafone Group. But, in my opinion, the most important news is the great interest in showing the open source world.

The 2008 edition of the San Diego Comic-Con is only a few weeks away (July 24-27) and we just got news that the Heroes panel is (still tentative, will be confirmed later) for Saturday July 26 from 10:45am to 11:15am. The lucky ones in attendance will get see some video footage from the upcoming season 3.

And so I decided to get out of my cave so that I can finally attend my first ever blogging event for this year - The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf’s Creativity Workshop. What really caught my attention is the fact that the said event involves a workshop - meaning, you’ll not just go there to simply meet people, eat, get freebies and blog about it. The workshop was divided into 3 categories - photography, short film and creative writing. I chose the latter even though the gadget I brought with me
